1) Power capability of the Z32 has increased to the point that the OE transmission durability (both manual and automatic) is being surpassed. Automatic, yes. People shedding 5spds need to learn to drive2) Many different gear ratios are available with these aftermarket transmissions. An excellent option for those who race competetively or have any idea why they would want to change their gear ratios and what to change them to (read: VERY FEW) 3) Some people just want to be able to say they have a 6-speed. Even if that's their only reason, I'm not going to tell them they're stupid, it's their car to do what they want with it. aka: dumbasses 4) A potential performance improvement due to the ability to tailor the gear ratios to suit their use. See my reply to #2 5) By building around this transmission's case platform, a plethora of options are opened up to anyone who wants to take advantage of them. You've yet to tell me what's wrong with the Z32 tranny. I'm not saying that this is what every Z32 owner must have, just that it's possible and in the long run... most likely more economical. k
